How counsellors use it

Four steps, one record.

How a typical consultancy runs Visa File Checklist day to day.

STEP 01

Open the file

When an offer is confirmed, a visa file opens with the destination's checklist.

STEP 02

Pre-fill

Documents already verified in the vault tick their lines automatically.

STEP 03

Close gaps

Missing items are requested from the student by upload link, with due dates.

STEP 04

Lodge

Once complete, the counsellor reviews the file and records lodgement and outcome.

Suggestions, not decisions

The AI drafts and flags. Counsellors review, edit and decide, and every change is recorded on the student's timeline.

Explained every time

Each suggestion shows what it was based on, so a counsellor can check it before acting.

Countries covered

Eight destinations, checked against official guidance.

Typical items on each country's student visa file. Requirements vary by applicant, so each checklist links to its official source and shows when it was last checked.

What we promise, and what we never will.

No outcome promises

AbroadBasics360 never promises admission or visa outcomes, and the site and app say so clearly. Decisions belong to universities and immigration authorities.

Sourced and dated

Course and country information comes from university and official sources, shown with its source and last-checked date. Counsellors confirm before advising.

Your data stays yours

Student data belongs to the consultancy, is never sold, and is deleted on request.

Questions

About Visa File Checklist

How are checklists kept current?
Checklists are reviewed against official immigration guidance on a regular schedule and whenever a rule change is announced. Each shows its source and last-checked date.
Can we add our own items?
Yes. Add internal items, such as a mock interview or an SOP review, to any country checklist.
Does a complete checklist mean the visa will be granted?
No. A complete file means the listed documents are in place. Visa decisions are made only by the immigration authority.
Do you lodge visa applications?
No. Applications are lodged by the student or their authorised representative through official channels. AbroadBasics360 prepares and tracks the file.
